A cafe with soul in the heart of the cityTucked away down a laneway in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, Strauss is a welcome refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life, serving renowned coffee, harvest-style food and a friendly smile from Monday to Friday.
Out-of-hours, Strauss becomes a private function venue to celebrate special occasions and success, launch new things, or simply network with contacts or enjoy an intimate meal with friends and family.
Strauss is owned and operated by coffee aficionado and self-professed foodie, Brad Jewell who is also known to many as a regular marathon runner who knows how food fuels the body and soul.
Following a 20-year corporate catering career, Brad seized the opportunity to do his own thing and run a boutique café.
For Brad and the Strass team, their passion is four-fold:

Each coffee, each drink and each plate of food is prepared in the open kitchen with a level of care and attention to detail that ensures Strauss has a loyal and growing community of customers who appreciate great coffee, food and service.
